Veer Shivaji Diwas
Veer Shivaji Diwas was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 19 February 2026 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The program began with a heartfelt tribute highlighting his extraordinary leadership, visionary governance, and exceptional military strategies that laid the foundation of Swarajya. The celebration aimed to inspire attendees by reflecting on his enduring legacy and invaluable contribution to Indian history.
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by floral tributes and student speeches. In their presentations, students spoke about Shivaji Maharaj’s administrative excellence, his unwavering commitment to justice and equality, and his remarkable contributions to fort architecture and the establishment of a strong naval force. Their speeches reflected deep admiration for his strategic brilliance and humanitarian values.
A short documentary on the life and achievements of Shivaji Maharaj was also screened, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. The documentary vividly portrayed his heroic battles, disciplined administration, and steadfast dedication to the welfare of his people. The event instilled a strong sense of pride and admiration among all present, encouraging everyone to uphold the ideals of courage, integrity, and leadership embodied by one of India’s greatest historical figures.
