CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The industrial visit to Microsoft India (R&D) Pvt. Ltd., held on 28 February 2026 at Bagmane Capital Campus, was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science), New Horizon College of Engineering, for 4th semester students. Conducted from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM.

The visit aimed to provide practical exposure to a global technology work environment and bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world applications. During the session, Microsoft experts shared insights into the company’s culture of collaboration, innovation, and research-driven development, along with discussions on emerging technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and large-scale software systems. Students gained an understanding of how advanced technologies are applied to solve complex real-world problems and deliver global digital services.

The visit also offered valuable learning outcomes, including awareness of industry practices, the importance of teamwork, analytical thinking, and continuous learning. Additionally, an interactive session allowed students to engage with professionals, gaining clarity on career opportunities and required technical skills, making the visit an informative and inspiring experience that enhanced their understanding of the IT industry.
