EXTENSION PROGRAMME

On the 15th of May 2026, a Student Outreach Programme was conducted at Cheshire Homes India by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science), New Horizon College of Engineering. The outreach activity was organised for the residents of the old age home with the objective of spreading happiness, compassion, and social connection through meaningful interactions and engaging activities. The programme witnessed active participation from 4th and 6^th-semester students, who enthusiastically contributed towards making the event memorable and enjoyable for everyone present.

The outreach programme, guided by the faculty coordinators and student volunteers, created a warm and friendly atmosphere where students spent quality time interacting with the elderly residents. Through heartfelt conversations, fun activities, and group interactions, the students aimed to bring joy and positivity to the residents while understanding the importance of empathy, care, and social responsibility in society today.
