SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS

Workshop On Automating EDA Using AI and Voice

On March 7, 2025, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) hosted a workshop titled “Automating EDA Using AI and Voice” for fourth-semester students. Delivered by Mr. Anand Jha, a Senior Data Analyst at Tiger Analytics, the workshop introduced foundational concepts in data analysis. Mr. Jha, with over eight years of experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), guided students through Python libraries such as Pandas, Matplotlib, and Seaborn for data cleaning, manipulation, and visualization, along with SQL techniques for querying structured data.

Participants worked with real-world datasets, including a sales data case study, through a hands-on approach, to derive meaningful insights. Resources like datasets, Python scripts, and SQL queries were provided for further practice. Participants appreciated the explanations’ clarity and the topics’ relevance. The Q&A segment offered insights into career opportunities in data science, which motivated students. Overall, the workshop equipped participants with essential tools and techniques for exploratory data analysis, laying a strong foundation for their growth in data analytics.
